A early morning shoot with Creative Loafing and my Gal Pal Kerry!

Through blistering sun, scorching heat, Speeding Trains, and a dozen confused construction workers we managed to pull of a smoken hot shoot.

Gal Pal (Kerry), Creative Loafing Photographer (Jeoff) and myself (Noelle McIIwaine) spent a wonderful hour in the early am capturing some urban chic boudoir photography for this weeks edition of Atlanta Creative Loafing.

There was some loafing, done by the construction workers! My deepest apologies gentlemen!  These poor saps had to witness the entire shoot. Seriously, I don’t think that they could have concentrated on what they where supposed to be doing if there life depended on it.

In loving memory of my husband E.J.

E.J. Passed away from a heart attach on March 31, 2009 leaving a legacy with his wife and five children to carry on and keep his passion and joy of life living and strong.

I (Noelle) taught EJ everything that I knew about photography and how to capture the perfect picture. I will take charge of Divine 29 Studios to insure that wives and couples will always be able to share their love for on another. 

EJ always made sure that I knew how beautiful I was and told me how much he loved me every day. I think that is important that I can help each new client experience this and that they can have that in their own lives.  

Remember that you are the most beautiful person and that your spouse loves you, kiss them before you go to bed every night, let them know how lucky you are to have them and always forgive the silly little comments that where made during the day. Everyone can have the perfect marriage that EJ and I have. Just keep giving even when you are not receiving and you will see.

I would be honored to help you with any special gift and it will bring me joy to experience this with you.

I love you EJ and always will, we are the beginning of a circle and we will someday see each other and be joined again at the end. I promise to share your love with every one that I encounter and raise our family in your core beliefs. I miss your smile and your humor, and see you in your children every morning and every night. I will pass on the secrets to our perfect marriage and make sure that everyone knows you where my best friend, the air that I breath and the love of my life.

Just Have to Remind Everyone...

I just wanted to take a minute and remind everyone how much I love my wife Noelle! It is early Saturday morning, and we just finished off a great night out in Midtown (Atlanta). Every new day reminds me how much she means to me, and how lost and empty my life would be without her. And out 5 beautiful children- I doesn't get much better than it is. That's all friends, just had the urge to share that with you.

Baby Logan Has Arrived - Noelle and Baby Doing Well!

Hey everyone,
Just wanted to update a quick post to let everyone know that Noelle delivered our final little addition on Friday at 4:25 PM. Our little Thomas "Logan" McIlwaine was 6 lbs 11 oz and 19 inches long. He is a little dude, but he is healthy and ready to go home in a few hours.

Noelle and I want to thank everyone - friends, family, and Divine29/Creation Stream Studios clients (well, you all are friends too)- for all your thoughts, prayers, and well wishes throughout our last 9 months.
Noelle is an incredible trooper and has been through the whole pregnancy - with all the extra pressure (literally) of the pre-term labor again - she was still working with clients up until the last weekend before we delivered.
Looking at mom and little Logan reminds me once again what is really important in life - its all about family, marriage, love, and friendship. Funny how the simple little gaze from a 6 lb newborn can bring life into perspective.

Friday evening, I had the joy of bringing the rest of the crew to the hospital to see their new baby brother for the first time - Charlie, Kennedy, Jayden, and Parker were all captivated by their new little brother - it was a very special time for all of us. Jayden is so excited to give her little brother his first Blankie Bear - she has been guarding it and reminding everyone that it is for Logan all week.
Now Daddy, Jayden, and Logan all have Blankie Bears - and Jayden will remind you that Blankie Bears are cool - and only we have them.
Charlie was front and center for the actual delivery, Mom and I are very proud of how patient and mature she was. She had the opportunity to cut the cord, but declined, I think it was all a bit overwhelming - but well worth the experience. As a Dad, I can't think of a better form of birth control for a young lady, than seeing a delivery first hand - hehe :)
Anyway, we are getting ready to bring little Logan home for the first time in a few minutes - so off I go. More to come soon. Thanks again for all your well wishes and prayers. We never forget our family and friends. We are always here for you too.
Ps. Logan was born on August 8, 2008 - which is 08/08/08. We are calling him our little snowman - 8 - get it?

New Website.... Really, I mean it this time :)

OK, so it has been a while since the March post, teasing you about a new website...but I have been working on the new site for the past few weeks, and it will debut this week. I have already loaded our last client, Katlyn into the proofing gallery of the new site, instead of the old one - so I am past the point of no return.

In order to visit the new site, you won't have to do anything - as soon as we go live, the new site will replace the old one, and will still be located at www.divine29.com as always.

We have been very busy at both Divine29 Studios, and my wife's Creation Stream Studios. Traditionally the summer is a bit slower time of year, but this year we have been booked almost every weekend throughout the summer. This is all in addition to our exciting upcoming addition, Logan, who will be our fifth and final child. Logan is set to deliver this coming Friday - 08-08-08 and Noelle and I are very excited.

Anyway - back to editing proofs and completing the final edits for our new site.

I wanted to thank some of our latest clients- Katlyn, Collette, and Bernetta - you ladies where all very fun to work with and your proofs are stunningly beautiful. I may have to reach out to each of you to see if you would allow me to use some of your photos in our website gallery - as I would love to share them with past and potential new clients. You were all so much fun to work with!

Brand New Website Coming Soon!

Hey everyone,

It's Friday night, March 7 (actually Saturday morning March 8).

Divine29 is proud to announce that we are very close to debuting our brand new website. The new website will feature large scale galleries, so that we can showcase our best work, and highlight customers who are so proud of their images, that they want to be part of or galleries.

In addition to our featured clients Kerry, Laura, and Ashley...we will proudly be adding new client showcases with Heather, Shaina, and Leena. I can't tell you how cool it is to shoot boudoir photography, which is very personal and private, an to have clients so excited about their images that they want to share them on our site.

We were very excited to work with a published model from Atlanta, and you brought it. Our Day with Ashley and Friend

What a fun day Noelle and I had this past Saturday with our newest client (and now friend) Ashley. She also brought along her friend Rebekah for support and advice on the shoot. There are some days when everything just seems to click and work well, and Sunday was one of those days. Ashley and Rebekah were so much fun to work with, and we think you will agree that the images are just outstanding. Rebekah was telling us that she had a very bad experience with a different photographer in Atlanta (on a Boudoir shoot) - and that she had spent plenty of time trying to talk Ashley out of doing this session. After about 15 minutes, Rebekah was excited and happy, and really enjoyed working with us to find the perfect poses and outfits for Ashley all afternoon. I think we may even convince Rebekah to give boudoir photography another shot, since she has found a team that she would be comfortable and excited to work with :)
